Une première étape libre entre participants de chaque conférence, des affrontements individuels entre l’Est et l’Ouest et puis… rien. Censé relancer l’intérêt d’un concours de dunks en perte de vitesse depuis des années, le nouveau format a au contraire complètement tué l’esprit de compétition.
Il y a bien eu des tentatives intéressantes mais le fait que les dunkeurs d’une même conférence ne s’affrontent pas a empêché Terrence Ross de véritablement défendre son titre. John Wall a été déclaré vainqueur alors que l’ambiance n’était pas montée et tout le monde a été surpris par cette fin brutale.
À commencer par les joueurs NBA, qui n’ont pas manqué de donner leurs impressions sur Twitter.
