Rookies du mois d’avril | Une grosse surprise à l’Est

Désormais favori pour le trophée de meilleur rookie de l’année, Anthony Edwards est désigné meilleur rookie de la conférence Ouest pour le mois d’avril avec ses 21.6 points, 5.1 rebonds, 3.3 passes et 1.6 interception de moyenne. L’arrière des Wolves réussit le doublé après le mois de mars.

À l’Est, LaMelo Ball était à l’infirmerie en avril, et la NBA a choisi Malachi Flynn, le meneur remplaçant des Raptors.

Sélectionné en 29e position de la Draft 2020, il termine avril avec 12.7 points, 4.8 passes, 4.1 rebonds en 28 minutes avec un très correct 41% à 3-points. Il est le premier rookie des Raptors à remporter ce trophée depuis Jonas Valanciunas, en mars 2013.
