En «two-way contract», comme c’était le cas aux Celtics pendant deux ans, Tacko Fall ne finira pas la saison aux Cavaliers puisque The Athletic annonce que ses dirigeants ont décidé de le sacrifier pour signer un meneur supplémentaire. Il s’agit de Brandon Goodwin, signé d’abord comme joker médical, et dont les performances ont convaincu le staff de JB Bickerstaff.
En trois matches, cet ancien meneur des Hawks et des Nuggets a tourné à 7.3 points, 4.7 passes et 3.7 rebonds de moyenne.
Dans une formation déjà blindée sous les panneaux, Fall n’aura joué que 59 minutes en 11 matches.
