Avant le Game 7 entre les Bucks et les Nets, la NBA a décerné ses ultimes récompenses de la saison avec la révélation des All-Rookie Teams. À l’unanimité, LaMelo Ball et Anthony Edwards sont élus dans le premier cinq, et ils sont accompagnés de Tyrese Haliburton (Kings), Saddiq Bey (Pistons) et Jae’Sean Tate (Rockets).

Dans le second cinq, on retrouve Immanuel Quickley (Knicks), Desmond Bane (Grizzlies), Isaiah Stewart (Pistons), Isaac Okoro (Cavaliers) et Patrick Williams (Bulls).

Parmi les absences notables, on note celles d’Anthony Cole (Magic) et de Théo Maledon (Thunder). Le Français obtient 5 voix dans la All-Rookie Second Team. Il est très loin des 50 points de Patrick Williams.
